Well. How should I start?
I grew up in the small town of Monroe in upstate New York about fifty miles north of New York City. I lived there for 16 years before moving down to South Florida where I’ve been for past 30 years.
I am a single dad with two of the best kids any parent could ask for – Breanna and Jeremy. Or, as I affectionately refer to them as – Boris and Natasha!

As a child I always loved looking at family pictures and magazine photographs. I couldn’t wait for my father’s subscription to National Geographic to arrive each month. I would always be the first to grab the magazine and start rummaging through the pages and thinking how cool it would be to travel to all of the exotic locations and different countries.
I purchased my first digital camera back in 2001 and began experimenting and taking pictures at the local motocross track. It didn’t take long and very soon I was hooked!
With a desire to learn more, I started taking adult education classes and reading books and magazines. I wanted any information on photography that I could get my hands on.
Then, with this knowledge, I felt that I needed to take my photography to the next level. So, a few years back I decided to schedule some classes at the Palm Beach Photographic Center where I met Bob McKay.
After spending some time together at the center, we soon became friends. Shortly after, I was asked to join the team and help teach and educate others.

Three years have now gone by and I have gotten to work with some of the best photographers in the U.S. People such as Harrison Funk , Adam Jones , Lewis Kemper,  Ross Whitaker,  Rick Freidman , Kevin Aims and Vincent Versace to name a few.
But without a doubt, the biggest influence in my photography has been the people, students and volunteers at the Palm Beach Photographic Center. They have inspired me to do what I love. And they continue to make me want to do better. And the one person who I must say has inspired me the most – Bob McKay! The opportunity he has given me to learn and teach is priceless. He is always willing to share his knowledge and his expertise which I am so grateful for.
There is more but you came here to view some of my work.  So, instead, kick back, have some espresso and biscotti and enjoy my photos.

For more information, please see the Links page to some of the people I’ve worked with and some of the great photography workshops I attended.

                                                                 Enjoy!
